Marmaray Ataköy Station, Train Fire

In the project, a 20 MW train fire at Marmaray Ataköy Station was investigated.

With the transient analysis performed, within 20 minutes of the start of the fire,  The change in air velocity, temperature, smoke concentration and visibility on the ticket and platform floor were calculated.

It has been determined whether the fire and smoke spread will create a risky situation in terms of the evacuation of the passengers at the station and the safety of the teams that will respond to the fire.

.

Marmaray Küçükçekmece Station, Train Fire

In the project, a 20 MW train fire at Marmaray Küçükçekmece Station was investigated.

With the transient analysis performed, within 20 minutes of the start of the fire,  The change in air velocity, temperature, smoke concentration and visibility on the ticket and platform floor were calculated.

It has been determined whether the fire and smoke spread will create a risky situation in terms of the evacuation of the passengers at the station and the safety of the teams that will respond to the fire.

.

Marmaray Suadiye Station, Train Fire

In the project, a 20 MW train fire at Marmaray Suadiye Station was investigated.

With the transient analysis performed, within 20 minutes of the start of the fire,  Changes in air velocity, temperature, smoke concentration and visibility on the platform floor were calculated.

It has been determined whether the fire and smoke spread will create a risky situation in terms of the evacuation of the passengers at the station and the safety of the teams that will respond to the fire.

.

Samanli Road Tunnel, Vehicle Fire

Samanlı (Orhangazi) Tunnel is the longest 3-lane tunnel in Turkey (February 2016), constructed as part of the Gebze-Orhangazi-Ä°zmir Highway Project.  It was built between Yalova and Orhangazi, under the Samanlı Mountain.  one of the double tube tunnels is 3591, the other is 3586  meters long and the tunnels are ventilated with the help of jet fans.

In the project, a 300 MW vehicle fire that will take place in the tunnel was examined with CFD analysis, temperature,  smoke spread and variation of visibility within 30 minutes after the start of the fire and smoke evacuation of jet fans  effectiveness has been determined.

It has been determined whether the fire and smoke spread will create a risky situation in terms of the evacuation of people in the tunnel and the safety of the teams that will respond to the fire.

.

Yenikapi Metro Station, Train Fire

In the project, an 18 MW train fire that will take place in the platform area of Yenikapı metro station and different ventilation scenarios were examined by CFD analysis.

Placement of smoke extraction fans  and the suitability of their capacities, smoke spread, the change of air quality on the platform and ticket floor over time, evacuation of passengers and the teams to respond to the fire.  The suitability of the conditions in terms of security was examined, different  scenarios  By comparison, the safest working scenario was determined in terms of smoke evacuation.

Rohtang Highway Tunnel, Vehicle Fire

Rohtang Highway Tunnel, Leh-Manali road crossing the Himalayas in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh  Located on the Rohtang pass,  It is an 8.8 km long road tunnel. There is 1 departure and 1 arrival lane in a single tube. The tunnel is ventilated with a semi-transverse ventilation system.

In the project, normal ventilation,  emergency ventilation and  In addition to escape tunnel ventilation calculations,  a 30 MW vehicle fire in the tunnel  Examined with CFD analysis,  heat,  change of smoke spread and visibility in the 20-minute period after the fire start and the ventilation system  smoke evacuation  effectiveness has been determined.

It has been determined whether the fire and smoke spread will create a risky situation in terms of the evacuation of people in the tunnel and the safety of the teams that will respond to the fire.

.

Artvin-Erzurum Highway Tunnel, Vehicle Fire

Artvin-Erzurum Highway Tunnel is a 2 lane tunnel with a length of 1932 meters. The tunnel is ventilated with the help of jet fans.

In the project, 10 MW and 50 MW vehicle fires that will take place in the tunnel were examined with CFD analysis, temperature,  smoke spread and variation of visibility in the 15-minute period after the start of the fire and the smoke evacuation of jet fans  effectiveness has been determined.

It has been determined whether the fire and smoke spread will create a risky situation in terms of the evacuation of people in the tunnel and the safety of the teams that will respond to the fire.

.

ÅžiÅŸli Metro Station, Piston Effect

In the project, formed in the station by the piston effect,  airflow and thermal changes, simulating train movement  Examined by CFD analysis.

Arriving at the station and leaving the station after picking up passengers  due to the piston effect caused by trains, airflows entering and leaving the station from stairs, shafts and tunnels, air velocities in the station, temperature distribution and relative humidity  rates  calculated.
